Principle

Nick began his career in advertising in 2003 as an intern at Paddler magazine in Steamboat, Colo. After getting hired on fulltime for four years, he helped start PaddlingLife.net. Nick then moved to Canoe & Kayak magazine, where he worked as an advertising executive for three years and was eventually promoted to Advertising Director of Canoe & Kayak, SUP, and Kayak Fish magazines. In 2014, he started DBTR to take care of client needs above and beyond ad sales. With a passions for Whitewater, Nick and friends assembled the new Falcon guidebook Paddling Pacific Northwest Whitewater. Now he focuses on creating partnerships with clients for canoekayak.com , americanwhitewater.org and theinertia.com. When not in the office, you can find him adventuring with his wife in the Northwest in their van.
